For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Zest and juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Avocado Cream Sauce:

1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

For the Tacos:

8 small corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded red cabbage

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, lime zest, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the other components.

    Prepare the Avocado Cream Sauce: In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little water or more lime juice to reach your desired consistency.

      Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

        Warm the Tortillas: In the same skillet or another dry skillet, warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable. You can also wrap them in foil and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.

          Assemble the Tacos: On each tortilla, add a generous spoonful of the shredded red cabbage as a base. Top with a few shrimp, a dollop of avocado cream sauce, diced tomatoes, and chopped cilantro.
