1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 slices of deli turkey breast

4 slices of Swiss cheese (or cheese of your choice)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.

    Prepare the Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it on a clean, flat surface. You should see 8 triangles.

      Add Flavor: If using, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle of dough for added flavor.

        Layer Ingredients: On each triangle, place a slice of turkey breast followed by half a slice of Swiss cheese. Sprinkle a dash of garlic powder and Italian seasoning on top of the cheese for extra taste.

          Roll Up: Starting from the wide end of the triangle, roll the dough towards the point, encasing the turkey and cheese inside. Make sure to seal the edges to prevent the filling from escaping during baking.

            Position on Baking Sheet: Place the rolled-up crescents on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each so they can expand while baking.

              Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown and the cheese is melty.

                Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley for color and serve warm.
