Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for some heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Ranch Dip:

1 cup sour cream

½ cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon fresh dill (chopped)

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly. Cut each sweet potato into wedges (about 1-inch thick) for a perfect balance of tenderness and crispiness.

Season the Wedges: In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Ensure all wedges are well coated with the seasoning mixture.

Bake the Wedges: Spread the seasoned sweet potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.

Prepare the Ranch Dip: While the wedges are baking, in a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh dill, onion powder, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Once the wedges are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley on top. Serve warm alongside the creamy ranch dip for dipping.
