1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

½ teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lime

For the Avocado Lime Sauce:

1 ripe avocado

½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

Juice of 1 lime

1 garlic clove, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

A handful of fresh cilantro (optionally for garnish)

For the Tacos:

8 corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cabbage (green or purple)

1 medium tomato, diced

½ red onion, thinly sliced

Fresh lime wedges, for serving

Extra cilantro, for garnish

Marinate the Shrimp: In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, garlic powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.

    Prepare the Avocado Lime Sauce: In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocado, Greek yogurt or sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed and set aside.

      Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

        Warm the Tortillas: In a dry skillet or directly over a gas flame, warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side, until they are pliable and slightly charred. Wrap them in a clean kitchen towel to keep warm.

          Assemble the Tacos: On each tortilla, layer a pinch of shredded cabbage, a few pieces of cooked shrimp, diced tomato, and red onion. Drizzle generously with the avocado lime sauce.
