Ingredients

2 pounds of baby bella mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

6 cloves of garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

Prepare the Slow Cooker: Set your slow cooker to the low setting.

Melt the Butter: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown the garlic.

Add the Seasonings: Stir in the dried thyme, dried rosemary, onion powder, salt, and black pepper into the melted garlic butter. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

Combine with Mushrooms: In your slow cooker, add the cleaned baby bella mushrooms. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the mushrooms, making sure they are well coated.

Slow Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 4 hours or until the mushrooms are tender and have absorbed the flavors.

Finish with Lemon: Once cooked, squeeze the juice of one lemon over the mushrooms and stir to incorporate the tangy flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the mushrooms to a serving dish, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm as a side dish, on pasta, or as a topping on steak.
