Ingredients

2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1 tablespoon olive oil

Sea salt, to taste

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

8 ounces burrata cheese, at room temperature

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

Zest of 1 lemon

Balsamic reduction, for drizzling

Optional: toasted baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/200°C).

Prepare the Peaches: Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with sea salt and black pepper.

Grill the Peaches: Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until they have nice grill marks and start to caramelize. Flip and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes until slightly tender. Remove from the grill and let cool slightly.

Plate the Burrata: On a large serving platter, gently place the room temperature burrata in the center.

Arrange Grilled Peaches: Arrange the grilled peach halves around the burrata on the platter.

Finish with Flavor: Drizzle honey over the burrata and peaches, and sprinkle the torn basil leaves and lemon zest on top.

Drizzle with Balsamic Reduction: Finish the dish with a drizzle of balsamic reduction for an extra layer of flavor.

Serve: Optionally, serve with toasted baguette slices for added crunch and texture. Enjoy your delightful summer platter!
