Ingredients

1 large flatbread or naan

1 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped

1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)

Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Alfredo sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Add cream and cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.

Combine vegetables: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach and artichoke hearts.

Assemble the flatbread: Place the flatbread on a baking sheet. Spread the creamy Alfredo sauce evenly over the flatbread. Distribute the spinach and artichoke mixture on top, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake: Transfer the flatbread to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, then sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes and fresh basil leaves if desired. Slice and serve hot.
