Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium recommended)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger (if using). Set aside.

Season the salmon: Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.

Sauté the asparagus: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the trimmed asparagus and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it’s bright green and slightly tender. Remove the asparagus from the skillet and set aside.

Sear the salmon: In the same skillet, add the salmon fillets, skin side down (if applicable). Sear for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Combine everything: Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon fillets in the skillet. Return the cooked asparagus to the skillet, arranging it around the salmon.

Bake in the oven: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The asparagus should also be tender but still crisp.

Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle sesame seeds over the top. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy your delicious One-Pan Honey Garlic Salmon with Asparagus!
