Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup vanilla pudding mix (instant)

2 cups milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup crushed vanilla wafers

Optional: chocolate shavings or crushed nuts for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding: In a medium bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk together for about 2 minutes until it's thickened and smooth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

Make the Whipped Cream: In another bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to overbeat, as you want to keep it fluffy.

Combine Mixtures: Fold about half of the whipped cream mixture into the prepared pudding using a spatula. Mix gently until combined, being careful to keep the airiness of the whipped cream.

Layer the Cups: Begin layering your pudding cups. In serving glasses or dessert cups, add a layer of crushed vanilla wafers at the bottom. Follow this with a layer of the pudding mixture, a layer of banana slices, and a couple of dollops of the remaining whipped cream. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.

Chill: Once all your cups are assembled, cover them with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to set.

Garnish and Serve: Just before serving, add your decorative toppings such as chocolate shavings or crushed nuts, if desired. Enjoy your delightful Banana Bliss No-Bake Pudding Cups!
