Ingredients

2 large cucumbers

1 can (5 oz) of tuna in water, drained

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon chopped red onion

1 tablespoon chopped dill pickles

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cherry tomatoes, halved (for garnish)

Fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Cucumbers: Wash the cucumbers and cut them in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds gently using a small spoon or melon baller, creating a “boat” shape for the filling.

Make the Tuna Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, chopped red onion, chopped pickles, and fresh dill. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Fill the Cucumber Boats: Take the prepared cucumber boats and start spooning the tuna mixture into each boat, ensuring they are generously filled.

Garnish: Top each slider boat with a halved cherry tomato for a pop of color and extra flavor. Optionally, add a sprig of fresh dill on top of each boat for decoration.

Serve: Arrange the filled cucumber boats on a platter and serve immediately. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before serving.
