Mini Chicken Parm Crescent Bites

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1/2 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp black pepper

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles on a clean surface.

      In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper until well combined.

        Place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

          Roll each triangle starting from the wide end towards the point, forming a crescent shape, and pinch the edges to seal.

            Place the rolled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are not touching.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent bites are golden brown.

                Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes, then serve warm, garnished with fresh basil leaves if desired.
