1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup lettuce, shredded

½ cup sour cream

½ cup salsa (optional)

12 mini taco cones (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the chicken strips, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is well-coated in the spices. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

    Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken strips. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and set aside.

      Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the red and green bell peppers along with the red onion. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, and mix everything together until heated through.

        Prepare the Taco Cones: If using homemade mini taco cones, carefully shape them and bake according to your recipe. For store-bought cones, simply place them upright in a muffin tin or cone holder for stability.
