Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags (or green tea bags for a lighter flavor)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

2 ripe passionfruits (or passionfruit puree)

1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Lime slices for garnish

Instructions

Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

Prepare Fruit Mixture: While the tea is steeping, in a blender, combine the diced mango, the pulp of the passionfruits (or passionfruit puree), and sugar. Blend until smooth or until you reach your desired texture—smooth or slightly chunky.

Combine Tea and Fruit: After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and let the tea cool for about 10 minutes. Once cooled, stir in the fruit mixture and fresh lime juice.

Chill: Pour the combined mixture into a pitcher and refrigerate for at least an hour, allowing the flavors to meld and the tea to cool down completely.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled mango passionfruit iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lime slices for an extra splash of color and freshness.

Enjoy: Stir gently before drinking to mix in the fruit pulp and savor the tropical flavors!
