Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest and juice of 2 lemons

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Shrimp: Once the oil is hot, add the marinated shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and slightly charred.

Flip and Glaze: Flip the shrimp and pour the remaining marinade into the pan. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the marinade to thicken and create a glaze over the shrimp. Be sure to stir occasionally for even cooking.

Garnish and Serve: Once the shrimp is cooked through and the glaze is shiny, remove from heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.
