Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn, husked

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Zest of 1 lemon (optional, for freshness)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the husked corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until the corn is tender but still crisp. You can also grill the corn for a smokier flavor; just cook until charred and tender.

Make the Garlic Butter: While the corn is cooking, heat the melted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, just until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).

Combine Cheese and Seasoning: In a separate bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. If using the lemon zest, add it to this mixture for an extra burst of flavor.

Coat the Corn: Once the corn is done cooking, drain it and allow it to cool slightly. Brush the garlic butter generously over each ear of corn, ensuring they are well coated.

Sprinkle with Cheese Mixture: Roll each corn cob in the Parmesan cheese blend or sprinkle it on top, making sure to cover all sides.

Finish with Fresh Herbs: After coating the corn with cheese, sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top for a pop of color and fresh flavor.

Serve: Enjoy the garlic Parmesan corn on the cob immediately while warm, either as a side dish or as a delicious snack!
