Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons melted butter

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleaning.

Prepare the Wings: If your wings are whole, separate them into drumettes and flats. Pat them dry with paper towels to ensure they get crispy when baked.

Season the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.

Bake the Wings: Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat.

Add Parmesan: Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the hot wings, then add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Toss well to coat the wings evenly.

Serve: Plate the Garlic Parmesan Baked Wings and garnish with extra parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of citrus to enhance the flavors. Enjoy!
