Ingredients

For the Pretzel Crust:

1 ½ cups mini pretzels, crushed

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Strawberry Yogurt Layer:

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup strawberry puree (fresh or frozen strawberries blended until smooth)

½ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup whipped cream (heavy cream whipped to soft peaks)

For the Topping:

1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

¼ cup strawberry preserves

Instructions

Prepare the Pretzel Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a medium bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking pan.

          - Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and set. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

            Make the Strawberry Yogurt Filling:

              - In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, strawberry puree, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well blended.

                - Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

                  Assemble the Squares:

                    - Once the pretzel crust has cooled, spread the strawberry yogurt layer evenly over the crust.

                      - Smooth the top with a spatula for an even finish.

                        Add Toppings:

                          - Arrange the sliced fresh strawberries on top of the yogurt layer.

                            - Drizzle strawberry preserves over the strawberries for added sweetness and presentation.

                              Freeze:

                                - Cover the baking pan with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

                                  - Once frozen, let it sit for a few minutes at room temperature before cutting into squares for easier serving.

                                    Serve and Enjoy:

                                      - Cut into squares and serve immediately. Optionally, drizzle with additional strawberry puree or a dollop of whipped cream for extra flair!
