2 cups frozen strawberries

1 cup fresh basil leaves, packed

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

1/3 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)

2 cups cold water

Lemon slices and basil sprigs for garnish

Instructions
 

In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, fresh basil leaves, lemon juice, honey (or agave syrup), and cold water.

    Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and the strawberries and basil are fully puréed.

      Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or agave syrup if desired. Blend again briefly to combine.

        If you prefer a thicker consistency, add a few more frozen strawberries and blend until incorporated.

          Pour the lemonade into glasses and garnish with lemon slices and basil sprigs.
