Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup brewed strong coffee (cooled to room temperature)

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional, for a richer texture)

1/4 cup crushed nuts (almonds or hazelnuts) for topping (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Create the Mocha Swirl: In a separate bowl, mix the brewed coffee, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until fully combined and smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup.

Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the coffee mixture into the yogurt mixture, swirling it in rather than fully mixing, to create a beautiful marbled effect.

Add Chocolate Chips: If using, fold in the chocolate chips for extra texture and taste.

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Pour and Smooth: Pour the mocha yogurt mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. If you like, sprinkle crushed nuts over the top for added crunch.

Freeze: Place the pan in the freezer and allow the bars to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.

Cut and Serve: Once frozen, remove the bars from the pan by lifting the parchment paper overhang. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Cut into squares or bars and enjoy!

Store: Return any leftovers to the freezer, wrapping them in plastic wrap to keep them fresh.
