1 ripe cantaloupe

1 ripe honeydew melon

8 to 10 slices of prosciutto

Fresh mint leaves (about 1/4 cup)

Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)

Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)

Wooden skewers (6- to 8-inch)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Melons: Cut the cantaloupe and honeydew melons in half and remove the seeds. Using a melon baller or a sharp knife, scoop out or cut the flesh of both melons into bite-sized cubes or balls. Aim for similar sizes for even assembly.

    Cut the Prosciutto: Slice the prosciutto into halves or thirds, depending on the length of your skewers. Each piece should be about 2-3 inches long.

      Assemble the Skewers: Take a wooden skewer and thread a piece of honeydew melon first, followed by a folded piece of prosciutto, a mint leaf, then a piece of cantaloupe. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at the ends for easy handling.

        Repeat: Continue assembling the skewers until all ingredients are used, distributing the melons and prosciutto evenly.

          Drizzle & Serve: Place the assembled skewers on a serving platter. Lightly drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle freshly cracked black pepper over the top for an added kick.
