Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1 large egg

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1/4 cup sriracha (adjust for heat)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp honey

Sesame seeds for garnish

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, green onions, egg, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Form Meatballs: Use your hands to shape the chicken mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each meatball.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Prepare Firecracker Sauce: While the meatballs are baking, combine the sweet chili sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, and honey in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat.

Glaze the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are baked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the firecracker sauce over them. Toss gently to coat each meatball evenly with the sauce.

Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. Serve immediately, either on their own or with toothpicks for easy eating.
