Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Olive oil spray or cooking spray

Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Breading Stations:

      - In a shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour.

        - In another shallow dish, whisk the eggs until well combined.

          - In a third shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

            Bread the Green Beans:

              - Dip each green bean first into the flour, shaking off any excess.

                - Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, letting any extra egg drip off.

                  - Finally, coat the green bean in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it's fully covered. Place the breaded green bean on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all green beans.

Spray and Bake: Once all the green beans are coated, lightly spray them with olive oil spray or cooking spray to help them crisp up in the oven. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
