Ingredients

1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high heat will help create that perfect crispy texture.

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim off the ends and remove any yellow or wilted leaves. Cut each sprout in half vertically.

Season the Sprouts: In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well until the sprouts are evenly coated with the seasoning.

Roast in the Oven: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Be sure not to overcrowd them for maximum crispiness. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even browning.

Add Balsamic: Once the sprouts are golden brown and crispy, pull them out of the oven. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the sprouts and toss again to coat. If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt and crisp up the cheese.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color. Serve warm and enjoy your delightful crispy roasted Brussels sprouts!
