Ingredients

20 jumbo pasta shells

1 pound ground turkey

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus extra for topping

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

    - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside on a baking sheet to prevent sticking.

      Prepare the Filling:

        - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

          - Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

            - Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

              Mix the Cheese Filling:

                - In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.

                  - Add the turkey and spinach mixture to the cheese mixture and stir until fully incorporated.

                    Stuff the Shells:

                      - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                        - Spread half of the marinara sauce evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

                          - Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each jumbo pasta shell with the creamy turkey and spinach mixture. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish, open side up.

                            Top and Bake:

                              - Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

                                - Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

                                  Garnish and Serve:

                                    - Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
