Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Bake

12 oz penne pasta, uncooked

1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup ranch dressing

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup chicken broth

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, sour cream, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the cheddar cheese, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.

        Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the chicken mixture and gently fold everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy ranch mixture.

          Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.

            Add Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the pasta mixture.

              Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                Garnish and Serve: Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
