4 cups Rice Krispie cereal

1 cup mini marshmallows

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup diced fresh apple (preferably Granny Smith for tartness)

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, for added crunch)

Additional caramel sauce, for drizzling on top

Extra apple slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare Your Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan lightly with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper for easy removal later.

    Melt the Marshmallows and Butter: In a large pot over medium heat, combine the butter and mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

      Add Flavors: Once the mixture is smooth, remove it from the heat and add the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir well to combine the flavors.

        Incorporate the Rice Krispies: Gradually add the Rice Krispie cereal to the marshmallow mixture. Fold gently until all the cereal is well coated with the marshmallow mixture.

          Add Apples and Nuts: Stir in the diced fresh apple and chopped nuts (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

            Transfer to Baking Pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Using a buttered spatula or your hands (lightly greased), press the mixture evenly into the pan. Make sure it's compact, but don’t squish it too hard.
